Amy Winehouse takes the decks at Buckler

Having had a full day of shows followed by a quick stint at the office amending the Paris Schedule and chasing Milanese pr’s for seating allocations (that’s a whole other blog) I rounded the evening off with a party at the new Buckler store.

Now this is not the usual style of London Fashion Week party – for one, it’s a menswear shop opening – and secondly there were straight men there (A breath of fresh air after 3 days of London shows). Plus The Paddingtons were playing, which certainly is enough to get me excited.

Agyness Deyn made an appearance, well, being the girlfriend of the bass player she had to make an effort, despite her eye infection. Add to the celebrity mix Carl Barat (of Dirty Pretty things) who was cheering the Paddingtons on at the front and looking rather gorgeous in a tailored 3/4 length grey jacket.

Add Amy Winehouse to the mix (fresh from her Grammy win) and looking really gorgeous – which makes me wonder whether the tabloid press are drawing those pimples on her face, Jodie Harsh, some of the Skins cast and this was a one great under the radar party. I have to admit I din’t make it to the after party at Shoreditch House (cut me some slack I’m going to the Nicole Farhi show at 9.30 am tomorrow and have Four parties to go to tomorrow night!)
