Moet Bus Tours LFW

Yesterday was the day fashion went East - no, no, I'm not talking about Oriental catwalk references, but instead the uber-trendy area of London where blue hair and an 'I love Agyness' badge are de rigeur. From Henry Holland's House of Holland label to latex-lover Gareth Pugh, all the Hoxton-tastic brands clubbed together to show in one afternoon, meaning once we'd got ourselves to the (rather beautiful) Spitalfields church for Richard Nicoll's Amish-themed show, there was no racing back and foth across town. The relief to one's Balenciaga platform-clad feet!

And my, did I travel in style – Moet et Chandon laid on an uber-fabulous, silver-painted party bus to transport the fashion pack around the show route, complete with neon lighting, disco soundtrack and – naturellement – buckets and buckets of champagne. Drinking at lunchtime? Normally a no-no, but at fashion week, a positive must-do...A fizz-quaffing crowd including Jaime Winstone (wearing a red crystal Gareth Pugh creation) and Sophie Ellis-Bextor danced in the aisles to the Jackson Five as we made our way between shows. During a good old girlie gossip on the back seats, Jaime confided that her new boyfriend, Alfie Allen ("phwooar, he's sooo gorgeous!"), is appearing in a play in Glasgow so she'll be celebrating Valentine's day by appearing in Vivienne Westwood's hotly-anticipated show tonight instead. Oh well, who needs romance when you can party with Dame Viv?
