Vintage Is Still In
Wednesday night called for a drop-in drink at the fabulous Funmi Odulate's book launch. In Style's former accessories editor has thankfully imparted her vast expanse of vintage knowledge into a handy tome, complete with the most beautiful illustrations by Richard Merritt.
The author looked sumptuous in a crushed crimson prom dress (vintage, naturally darling), and as well as wine and nibbles, there was a mini vintage fashion fair too. Shopping avec a glass of vino was tres fun, though one might say slightly dangerous. This was quite a fashionista-fierce soiree, girls all in fine frocks, and as always, there were more oversized bags than the women hitched on to them. Just the way we like it.
